Fall 2022 Cambridge Suzuki Violins COVID-19 Lesson/Group policies. (updated 9/27/2022)
Updated: Sep 27, 2022
Dear Families,
Students and their immediate family must be COVID-19 symptom-free for in-person lessons. Lessons may be online, on-site, or a combination of the two, depending on the unfolding situation, and local and state guidelines. I am committed to both your safety, and to giving you the best possible and most consistent learning experience in either format.
These policies may be updated and/or change as the semester progresses. All class content, class & concert schedule and concert rep, are subject to change. Please be flexible.
For Private & Group Lessons:
Masks will be required at all times of everyone, regardless of vaccination status in all CSV lessons and group classes
If the student or anyone in your house has any symptoms of illness, PLEASE STAY HOME, and text me so that we can log on for a virtual lesson for that day. This includes fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
If a student is exhibiting any signs of illness at the lesson they will be sent home.
If a student or any member of their immediate family tests positive, or has come in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please notify me immediately.
Students may have one parent attend the lesson, though I am encouraging all students over in Book 4 and up to have solo lessons and take this opportunity to develop their independence in the lesson. Parents may Zoom in if they would like.
No siblings or visitors will be allowed at the lessons. Please leave siblings and visitors at home.
Please wash hands with soap when you arrive. I will scrub my hands before every lesson and class.
Please click here to read the entire CMC COVID-19 Guidelines on COVID exposure and reporting at CMC. I am following these guidelines in my studio.
